NORTH AMERICAN FESTIVAL of Wales, 2025

This North American festival, held annually, takes place this year in Ottawa, August 27th to September 1st.   I will be giving harp workshops in ensemble playing, suitable for participants at all levels, from complete beginners to harpists with advanced playing skills.  I plan to include a brief history on the importance of the harp in the British Isles, focusing especially on Wales.

I will be harp accompanist for the Ottawa Storytellers performances in this festival, of tales from the Welsh medieval epic, The Mabinogion. The Eisteddod, a Welsh competitive arts festival within NAFOW at large is featuring harp classes for the first time. My harp students will be performing in the solo and the ensemble classes.
